Senior Software Engineer, Credentialing Platform

About the role

Cut the time it takes a hospital to credential a new surgeon from 90 days to 10. You will build the services that verify clinician credentials against medical boards, sanction lists and other primary sources.

What you’ll do

• Build and scale the verification engine behind the Credentialing & Privileging Portal
• Develop reliable integrations with primary-source verification sites and data providers
• Design workflows that keep a defensible audit trail for every credentialing decision
• Improve performance, observability and test coverage across the platform

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of backend engineering (Python, Java, Go or Node.js)
• Experience building data pipelines or integrations against unreliable external sources
• Strong SQL and system design skills

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare data or HIPAA-regulated systems

Location and working arrangement

This role is hybrid, based in our Boston office. You’ll need to be able to work from Boston on a regular basis, and your team agrees its own rhythm for being together.

Compensation

$225,000 – $255,000 per year

Where you land in the range depends on your experience and skills, not on how well you negotiate. Any offer we make is within this range.
