Site Reliability Engineer, Private Cloud

About the role

Keep tier-one services inside their 99.99% SLA. You will run our private cloud footprint in Sydney and its burst connections to public cloud, with a 1-hour RTO and 15-minute RPO for critical workloads.

What you’ll do

• Operate and automate private cloud infrastructure and its links to AWS, Azure and GCP
• Own reliability for APAC production workloads, including capacity planning and DR testing
• Improve observability, alerting and incident response
• Take part in the follow-the-sun on-call rotation

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years in SRE, platform or infrastructure engineering
• Strong Kubernetes, Terraform and Linux skills
• Experience running production systems with strict SLAs
• Right to work in Australia

Nice to have

• Experience with HPE GreenLake or Equinix Fabric

Location and working arrangement

This role is hybrid, based in our Sydney office. You’ll need to be able to work from Sydney on a regular basis, and your team agrees its own rhythm for being together.

Compensation

A$175,000 – A$200,000 per yearBase salary, plus superannuation.
